TS6.5SP2 - ASP Preview is not working
Srinivasa Talla
Env : Windows 2003SP1 TS6.5SP2
We are not able to preview the ASP pages. It is displaying html pages. Even we tried to create a virtual directory in IIS and try to run a sample script. It is saying '404 - no file or directory found'. Are there any issues with Windows 2003 or SP1 IIS 6.0? Please give some pointers. We already selected the option for ASP in IIS web extensions.
Thanks
Jay.

if already configured IIS to allow .asp , did you go to
Add/Remove Windows Components
and added
.net/asp
component to the server?

Thanks Chris. The ASP component is already selected. We don't need .net. I don't know, there might be issue with IIS 6.0. If we reinstall IIS, it may work, but I am worrying about Y drive(iw-mount), it might be effected. Thanks.

Our problem got fixed. Three main things 1. Please check DEP is enabled for certain programs not for all. 2. Reinstalled IIS 6.0 and did manual configuration for web server. 3. TSIMP_shacondev03 user and the password.
Now it is working fine. I hope this will be useful.
