State of livesite page

Hi

I have a query:
I need find out whether my teamsite page is in edit mode or in preview mode.
I have to put validations according to page state.
Can sombdy propose me some way for the same.

When you are in the component development mode you can view the xml returned to your components. There should be an attribute called Admin that will be true or false wether you are in the dev mode (true) or in production (false).
