TeamSite 6.5 SP2 install hanging

We're trying to install TeamSite 6.5 SP2 on a Win2003 server and we get almost to the end of the install (Performing Post Install Steps) and the progress bar hangs and after a few minutes (maybe 10) the server reboots itself. We fingTeamSite 6.5 SP2 in the Add/Remove programs but doing an About shows that we're still on 6.5.0 (no SP).

We tried uninstalling SP2 and running it again but that produced the SAME results.

Has anyone experienced this or similar that could possilbly help?

I hope you didn't install windows 2003 sp1 before installing TS 6.5 SP2. Once we started uninstalling either TS or SP1, it will give more troubles. It happened to us, we did fresh installation. Now everything is fine.

nope, we're waiting until after 6.5 SP2 and OD 6.1 are installed and running BEFORE we upgrade to Win 2K3 SP1

i had sp1 installed on w2k3 before i installed any interwoven products and it worked just fine. did you reboot after installing TS but before installing SP2?

i did this installation and it went very smooth.

Support is advising - Install TS 6.5 SP2 (OD 6.0.2 SP1) first, then Windows 2003 SP1. But Paul issue is not with this. But uninstall gave more trouble to us, we went for fresh installation.
