Please go through the User Manual that has been given when you purchase the license. Maybe you can check the hardware and software requirement that is needed to run Worksite.

The link to your Configuration page should be http://localhost:8080/worksitemp/config.jsp assuming you browse from the server.

* Also, please mention your problem or error faced clearly. It is recommended to read the user manual before you proceed with installation and development, assuming you are new to Worksite.

What's the error message that you are getting? Also, do you have oracle installed on the same machine, then it might be a port conflict with Oracle web server, try changing the port of Tomcat. You might also consider checking the logs for errors/exceptions.

Hi
Thanks for your help.

I actually used the webcomponent installation method to install tomcat n webcomponets individually. As such when i was fiddling such long time to install both using the same method(web components and tomcat installation) it failed.

I found it successful when i used the other war arround. Dont know whether its the right way of doing it but it gave me instant solution.

There should not be the problem if you install the both as individually, jus you should have proper version of JDK installed first. Btw what was the work around you used?

Nicholas is trying to know what kind of method you used to solve the issue.

Nicholas

I meant, you can install both tomcat and wsmp web comp individually. but if you do it you need to link the wsmp web comp and tomcat together manually. All steps are mentioned in the manuals.

Second, I was asking, what was your work around to get it running?

Hope it is clear to you now.

The concept i used actually to run the process was..webcomponent installation method to install tomcat n webcomponets individually. (During the installation process.)

Hope this is the answer u expected.

But in your previous post you said that when you tried installing it individually, it failed and you used other work around.

A bit conflicting.
