Skillset Required

Can someone advise me as to the skillset required to create templates within Teamsite? Does someone have to know XML? Does someone have to know Perl? Or is it just HTML?

Again, I am asking, how will I know if "Templating" is installed on my PC?

Skill sets for creating Data Capture Templates for your users include Perl, XML, HTML.

Skill sets for using a template are just being able to fill in some forms in an HTML page. . . kinda like I'm doing right now to respond to your post.

To find out if your Windows client has downloaded the TeamSite Templating client from your TeamSite server, you can check your c:\ drive and see if you have the "c:\IA_Installer" directory or if you have the "c:\IWTemp" directory.

To see if you've installed the TeamSite templating product on your Interwoven server, you'd have to tell me what O.S. you're running. On Solaris, you can run the command:

$ pkginfo | grep Interwoven

And if you see the output:

application IWOVtst        Interwoven TeamSite Templating

It is installed.
