OpenDeploy 6.1.1 Issue

After upgrading from OpenDeploy 6.0.2 SP1 Sender and OpenDeploy Receiver 6.0.2 .1We are seeing this "partial" error. I describe the error as partial as it looks to be completing the deployment but the below error is being displayed in the confirmation results.

Locating OpenDeploy service.
OpenDeploy server host: localhost, RMI registry port: 9173
Got OpenDeploy service
***ERROR - Starting deployment.
Caught exception in getUser(). Details: null
>>>>>-- Start deployment wfm_content.
iwodstart running in default synchronous mode.
Need to wait for deployment to complete.

Can anyone provide some details on what this error is about?

Hi,

Is the error being returned from the iwodstart clt? Have you tried using iwodcmd start instead of the iwodstart command to see if you see the error message.

There is a KB article that explains the benefits of using iwodcmd instead of iwodstart. I think this might clear up your error.

The error appears to come from an authentication check. Is your deployment being initiated from a workflow? If so, it may be that the user owning the workflow may not have authorization to run the deployment. Setting Deploy.cltProxyAuthCheck to no will disable the authentication check when iwodcmd is used.
