How to add a Help icon containing pop up menu?

Is there a way to create a Help icon with a pop up menu javascript&colon;inlinehelp() to any field that I want?

I reviewed the jsp but the javascript is not entered explicitly. I only know that I can change the caption of the existing pop menu only in config.jsp.

Any ideas?

I can give you the start as I also don't know the exact steps.

In viewset, check the captions, you can add your custum captions with type here and same can be called in paged with using javascript method inlinehelp. How you need to call, don't know, you need to find out.

I will see if I will be able to invest some time for this resolution.

Thanks for the info. Currently this is also the limit of what I know. I'm still looking at how Worksite actually call it from the jsp implicitly. The function is in wsmp.js. There must be some linkage or registration made. Hmm..

WSMP calls that caption through their tag . If you notice in your jsp the tage for fields with help icon is different .. to change the behaviour you would have to extend that tag or write your custom tag.. pretty hard to do without taglib documentation / source code. you can also have a peek at the wsmp.tld file to confirm this.

Is it possible to add an image to the jsp manually? Any idea to achieve similar interface like Worksite's? I plan to create an image using flash so that pop up menu will come out when the user click on it. The problem is I do not know how to put it into the jsp.

update: I use javascript&colon;inlineHelp() and img src... to show the image with the pop up menu. The problem is... it is almost impossible to position the image as perfect as the original. Any ideas on how to solve positioning problem?
