Managing configuration files

We used to use the plus pack until 6.1 to manage the TeamSite configuration files (Templating.cfg, available_temaplates.cfg etc.,).

We have recently upgraded our Teamsite to 6.7.1. Since the the plus pack is not working any more. I wonder if anyone has figured out any alternatives for this which works with 6.7.1.

This isn't anything like the PlusPack but what you could do is have a branch store your configuration files and if anyone wants to make a change to it, they have to go through that particular workarea and submit it to a small and simple workflow. This way, it's versioned, you can have the typical workflow auditing as to who changed what, and you can roll back to a previous version easily.

There is an admin store in 6.7.1. IIRC, Sunil mentioned at GearUp that this would be used to manage all config files, not just the workflow modeler stuff as it currently does.

In the mean time, create a config/admin branch, tie it to a workflow (I use default submit) and set that to deploy to iw-home. Then populate the branch.
