C# integration with TeamSite?

Has anyone tried to integrate C# with TeamSite? My customer has many Microsoft resources and would like to know if C# can be used to make API calls to TS as well as, say, Java.

You should be able to use the WSDL to generate c# code. I have seen demo code with it. Obviously, I have never done it Smiley Happy

A bit easier to do some things in Java since they can be natively run on the server. Most of the same functionality is available via the web services interface for C#. I haven't used it either, but with all the hoops we continue to jump through with native cs sdk stuff on the local teamsite server, I can only imagine you having more fun with C# Smiley Happy

I did a small stint where they tried to use Visual Studio/C# against the WSDL's. Although you need to set up IIS etc, it did work fine but since they have Java skills as well and the Java SDK is ready to run and faster in TeamSite (I think there are more "helper" or higher level type methods in there compared to the WSDL's as well) - the decision to stay with Java was pretty quick.

I suspect getting help via the forum and support won't be as strong for C#/WSDL's compared to the Java SDK. That's another big point to consider.

as far as I remember, there were even either library articles or something like that showing how to use CS SDK using .Net....
