Search page is taking time to load

Hi All,

Search Server and teamsite server are on two diff machine.My problem is that search page is taking to much time to load when i just login to the teamsite server. On first search it takes long time but after this it is working with ok speed.
How can i make search page loading faster?

What is the search/ts version and what is the search load. Search will be typically much busier at bootstraping time and also when the bulk indexing is being done.
