I am trying to send mail using iw_solution_email.ipl. I am not able to access the file from .wft file for making the command.

Please help me out with this or please suggest any other simpler way for implementing the same functionality.

You are doing the right thing... but you need to attach your workflow code snippet so that one can see the command you are using to call off your ipl from wft.

You're no able to access what file? For making what command?

Without a better, more detailed explanation and/or the relevant portion(s) of the WFT - it's a little difficult to figure out how to assist you.

A brief description as to what i am doing:

Here i have a external task for email which calls iw_solution_email.ipl file which inturn reads a XMl file for getting the header and the body of the mail.
I am not able to acess this ipl file from my wft file.

Where is your $iwconfigs has been declared and initiated? Also please do a cross-check with CLT - iwgetwfobj as what is being inserted within your external task as a command.

Have you given a try to search for your answer within DevNet, as i think there should be some posts related to iw_solution_email.ipl overhere.

This topic has been examined many times on DevNet and, as far as I remember, your questions can be answered by looking at the code in iw_solution_email.ipl -- someone (Li Wong, maybe?) took the time to put some helpful comments in this script so that we could benefit from them.

Are you serous? That makes no difference. In fact, leaving off the .exe is, if anything, better in the rare event that their Windows instance of TeamSite someday gets migrated to Unix -- they don't have to go and remove all of the ".exe"'s.

I agree - the only reason to do this is if you (or someone at your site) somehow managed to create an "iwperl" file by accident - and then the fix is to remove that file.
