Teamsite Password restrictions ?

Hi,

My teamsite accounts are synchronized with Active Directory users.

I have a user as Master in teamsite whose password string includes "£" (European keyBoards have this).Now , when this user tries to login through content-professions screen , he is getting error message of "Wrong Userid/password". As soon as I remove this character from his password , teamsite works fine.

so, is there any specific password string Policy by TS ? I searched on Support site but couldn't get any thing.

TS supports UTF-8 and as far as i know... "£" sign does not comes within UTF-8 alphanumerics.
