Filelist deployment running, bu not deploying files

OD 6.0.2 sp1

I'm executing dynamic filelist deployments using the following command:

d:\Interwoven\TeamSite\bin\iwodstart archive -k area=Y:/default/main/Portal/RL/WORKAREA/PR -k targetpath=Y:/default/main/Portal/RL/archive/WORKAREA/workarea -k filelist=d:\Interwoven\TeamSite\tmp\filelists\archive_2796.txt

While the deployments are completing successfully with no errors, the files are actually being deployed:

COMPLETED Y:\default\main\Portal\RL\WORKAREA\PR .archive.ARCHIVE.teamsitex TEAMSITEX TEAMSITEX

What's interesting is that the filelists don't appear to be read:

LIB: 2007-03-29 11:01:01 DEPLOYING - [Y:\default\main\Portal\RL\WORKAREA\PR] to [y:\default\main\portal\rl\archive\workarea\workarea]
LIB: 2007-03-29 11:01:01 Filelist=[D:\Interwoven\TeamSite\tmp\filelists\archive_2796.txt]
ENG: 2007-03-29 10:01:01 EST GMT-05:00

I've attached the deployment script and the sample filelist. Is there something I'm missing?

Do you have the TeamSite versions defined in deploy.cfg ?

I would guess not. I haven't touched the deploy.cfg, so it is still what it was when OD was installed. I've attached it.

Put this at the end of deploy.cfg (with your TS version) then restart OD:

It's odd - though I have no idea whether it's the source of the problem - that the target path is using an all lower-case "workarea\workarea" instead of "\WORKAREA\workarea" -- you might try renaming the actual workarea to something like "work_area" and see if that changes the results...

Also - I'm assuming that the file bplan/editCol.asp - which is in your filelist - is correctly relative to WORKAREA\PR - i.e. ....\WORKAREA\PR\bplan\editCol.asp - yes? If not, that would almost definitely be the source of the problem.

That's all I can think of right now.

Great call Fish! I changed the target workarea's name to "content" and it worked. I guess you can't use "workarea."

Hi ,

A possibility, just try this as well.

Your Source area is ---
Y:/default/main/Portal/RL/WORKAREA/PR
and file list is ---
bplan/editCol.asp

so the file should be present at
Y:/default/main/Portal/RL/WORKAREA/PR "/" bplan/editCol.asp

please try and add the slash at the file list or area path you are passing, also make sure that there are no spaces in either place.
