visual format font and colour options in TS 6.7.1(Windows)

In the visual format, the font and colour options have to be removed.Please let me know the procedure.I went throught the vf pdf file and tried acc to what was explained in that but it was not reflecting in the editor(even after restarting the TS server).

Basically you have to modify the visualformater xml file and in that you have to go to the Menu tag; from there you can remove the Menu bar items.
