Regex's will not really help you here - instead create a validation subroutine and use something like Date::Manip or Date::Format (and format in yyyymmdd order) and you can easily verify whether the date is in the past or not.

I'm not sure if 6.5 gives you control over the formatting of the date in the GUI - but the best place to check is the UI Customization Guide.

The validation part I managed to solve out by adding a checking on the calendar it self before the date value populated into the Task form. Smiley Happy

Take a look here for Date Formatting. It illustrates what to change, how to change it, Date Formatting String syntax and so on.
Note that you will have to somehow figure out pagelist Id and column Id (or corresponding 'standard/Task' configurational elements) to modify

I know this is an old thread, but... As mentioned it another thread (http://devnet.interwoven.com/forums_vb/showthread.php?t=33429&forumid=11), I'm trying to implement a calendar control for the due date for a workflow. Would anyone have an idea of how this might have been implemented in the screen shot, and- better yet - was there an out of the box workflow that contained this functionality? I can't see to find one among those still on our server. Tried to implement a cgi calendar callout that is successfully used in some of our templates, and have tried using other calendar callouts - all either produce an error (the "Could not find the configuration file associated with the workflow" error), or my change doesn't even appear in the instantiation.
