Copy DCR's doesn't copy the metadata (EA's) !

Hi!

We are using TS 6.5 SP2, OD 6.1.1
The DCT "Test1" with the "TeamSite/Templating/DCR/Type:referens" has been copied (overwrite) to the DCT "Test2" in the same workarea and with the same type:
TeamSite/Templating/DCR/Type:referens
The content of the "Test1" has been copied to
the "Test2", but not the EA's.
Is it possible to even copy the EA's, in that case how?

How are you copying them ? If you use copy-to from the GUI it will work. If you are using DOS or Unix copy, now.

Edit > Copy should copy the content and EAs.
The iwcp CLT should copy the content and EAs - though there are some bugs with iwcp (I've got a case open on it now)
If you want to copy the EAs from the command line - the easiest way is:

iwextattr -l -x src-file | iwextattr -s -x tgt-file

I believe the '-x' flag was added in TS 6.x (6.5 for sure, but possible earlier versions of TS6 too)
