Anyone making their own RunTime Engine for Targeting,Segmentation, etc?

Basically we have waay too many pages to covert over to the Interwoven .page format and Iterwoven has no system in place for conversion to.pages so we CAN NOT use .pages (not to mention the idea of being stuck on a proprietary webpage format is kind of scary)

Therefore our Engine will READ in the Groups/Rules/Targeting/Segmentation data from TeamSite so our pages can interpret the content on the fly.

I started to write this back in LiveSite 2 so I'll post any updates as we move along...

Anyone else having to doing this?
