Visual Format Editor -- layering

Is it possible to do image layering in Visual Format Editor.

Please elaborate what do you want to do. What do you mean by Image layering? Is there something you already tried and did not work or are you starting fresh with a solution?

Inside the visual format editor,can we do keep images in a layer...ie my requirement.

I don't think visual format supports image layering... you can enquire this from Interwoven Support..

No. VFE uses (microsoft's) mshtml.dll to render WYSIWYG html fragments and layering is not supported.

You can certainly type/generate layering tags in VFE for later usage (in tpl, previews and all that),
VFE items will show layer images separately though. It is after all only DCR...
