View Source - CCPro

TS 6.5.0 Build 41235 - IE6 SP2

In Content Center Professional, there is a view source option under the Actions tab. I know it allows you to view the content without actually opening and locking the file. Anyway...

I see the applet message but nothing happens. I have changed my preferred editor under Local Files, Settings to WordPad, then Notepad but nothing seems to work. Has anyone experienced this before? I'm not sure when it stopped working. The only thing I'm seeing in the eventsubd_err log is:

org.exolab.jms.server.ServerException:
org.exolab.jms.persistence.PersistenceException:
java.lang.ClassCastException

I'm not even sure if that's related.

I will reply and close my own issue.

Apparently one of our people had gone ahead and filled in information for the Remote Setup tab, you know, Mapping the local mount to the Teamsite server.

Anyway, clearing both of the fields allows one to View Source again. When I questioned him, he said something about using Dreamweaver to edit some content files and this was the only way to get it to work.

Hope this prevents someone else from chasing their tail.
