I am unable to figure out the function for the following ?

1. How to get the list of users belonging to a particualr group ? OR
2. List of user belonging to a particular role ? OR
3. List of user having access to particular branch ?? OR

Any help much appreciated... :-)

Have you looked at the CS SDK samples that are included in the CS SDK software package? I believe there are .net and java examples included in both.

3. List of user having access to particular branch ?? (you will have to workarround this one)

Thanks for getting back.
Yes, i have looked at the examples but they are very very limited for .NET. However i am able to do certain steps like.
1. connect to teamsite.
2. create/execute workflow.
3. take "group task" based on shared by "user"
4. make transition, etc.
5. upload file

What i am unable to find in the examples is :
1. How to get the list of users belonging to particular group, something like iwgroup list-members CLT . OR
2. something for iwaccess CLT

I am unable to find a correct function of this in the API... i need a third eye...

Thanks for this, but i need to do all this using CSSDK web services in .NET.
1. I do not want to use the CLT but an equivalent function of this in CSSDK .
2. Yes, 6.7.1 has branch level roles but not stored in tsusers.xml. iwaccess CLT can be used but again i need CSSDK.
3. This can be achieved using iwaccess CLT but again i need a CSSDK equivalent.

I would look at the access service wsdl for more information:

http://serverName:80/iw/services/cm/2.0/accessservice/WSDL

In the CS SDK java code you would just use the CSGroup.getUsers() method, which would provide you all the users in that group.

Thanks again .. sorry for troubling you further ..

With the getGroupData i can get the "kind", "display name", "name" "description", etc but i cant find the user list.... AM I Missing something.... ??

In the access WSDL i can find addUsersInGroup(), removeUserInGroups(), removeAdminsInGroup(), etc. but NOT GETUSERS().

I can also find queryGroups(), queryUsers() , any idea if this can help and what to pass as query string.

In the CS SDK java API .. under package "access", i can find a interface CSGroup, this has only one method getName and no method for getUsers(). Again AM I MISSING something.. ???
Also this function should be in the WSDL as i have to use this in C# .NET.

I pulled the method name from the CS SDK 3.1 (ships with TeamSite 6.7.1) java docs. You sure you are looking at the correct java docs?

Ohh.. i checked SDK 2 by mistake and as you said there is a function getUsers() in CSGroup interface in SDK 3.
But my requirement is for a similar function exposed via WSDL so that i use it in C# .NET.

I'll try to look further into WSDL, if i am missing something. In the mean time if anybody comes across any function for getting list of users in the groups... please let me know....
