iwproxy_remap

Hi all,

I am having an issue with iwproxy_remap, rather I would say I am confused ...

this is my iwproxy_remap settings in my iw.cfg

[iwproxy_remap]
global_default_map=/
prodbranch=/iw-store/main/www-internet/content
devbranch=/dev-iw-store/main/internet/content

[prodbranch]
_docroot=/www/htdocs
dataroot=/templatedata

[devbranch]
_docroot=/www/htdocs
dataroot=/templatedata

The Document root resolving is being done correctly in case of "devbranch" but not in case of "prodbranch"

Any kind of suggestions on this would be really appreciated.

Are you sure about the path for prodbranch - is it really /iw-store/main and not /default/main ?

as fish said, check the path to your store.

Additionally the TS6.5/6.7 admin guide says:

Note: The proxy server does not allow you to remap the document root directory for
Content Store branches other than the default Content Store.

the path for prodbranch is correct it is /iw-store/main

stefanmaier - I have gone through the note mentioned in 6.5/6.7 manuals that made be even more confused because in mycase proxymap seemed to work in case of my devbranch at /dev-iw-store/main/ which is not again /default/main

I have a case open with support regarding this issue.

Hi Stefan,

It seems the Note mentionedl was a documentation bug, we had a case open and support confirmed tht it was a documentation bug.

the previous post by me was the Support answer ...
and we set our document root in obj.conf and it solved all the problems we were facing.
