to show message with the same look and feel while using displayMessage()

Hello friends,

I am using formAPI method "displayMessage()" to show some error messages on saving my DCR.the message is showing fine, but not in the same fashion when say a required field is left empty and formpublisher engine is showing the error message(in red with a red bar icon).

Is there any possible way to achieve this for my custom messages(i.e from displayMessage() method)?

Note that it's a hack, neither documented nor supported.

Alternatively you may try to format Error Message as html fragment with or without using FormsPublisher CSS.
Something like the following may be a start in that direction:
IWDatacapture.displayMessage("<span class='iw-formspub-error-field'>YourErrorMessage</span>");
