Error using "Open Document"

Hi,
I am using mediabin web client 4.5.3 and the mediabin server has installed microsoft office software.
After I clicked on the "open document" link of a powerpoint or excel or word file in the mediabin web client, a dialog box will appear showing "Please wait.. Buffering..." but nothing happens after that.
What could be the problem and how to solve it?

Open Document uses the "Get Original" task. The user must have permissions to that task. In 4.6, if the user doesn't have permissions to that task, the option doesn't appear.

After making this request, try logging into MediaBin via a second client (web or native) and check the job log to see if the server ran a job on your behalf (as noted it would indicate a "(Get Original)" task. This will help narrow where it is getting stuck!
Making sure that net.log is enabled on the server would be a good next step particularly if the job shows that it ran.
