workflow modeler email reviewer task

I am using workflow modeler to do simple workflow which has one reviewer task and deployment task, everything is working fine except the email that is sent out always indicates it is from branch owner and my question is how do i change that the email is from the creator of the workflow

Who is the owner of the email task?
That's usually what is used for the From field - unless something else is specified in the header PT (assuming you're using the iw_solution_email.ipl script)

If you are using the Notify Reviewer built-in task of the review task, I think, the emails would be sent from the Job Owners email address.

Now even though your user instantiates the workflow, the workflow would be having its owner set to Workarea Owner. If you change it to IW_USER, your issue should be resolved though, I have not tested this at my end.

If you are using an email task other than that, then as Adam said, it will be the owner of the email task. You will need to change the owner to IW_USER

Hmm - in 6.7.1 [no SP] the ccmail_header.tpl - which gets included by the reviewer_iwmailheader.tpl - which is, presumably, what you're using for the header PT in the email task - yes? has:[html]...

...[/html]I don't see any conditional code based on the parameter value "review" being passed in - so it looks like it should be always using the email task owner.

Are you using that PT or a different one?
Does the code in your header PT look the same or different?

Ah - haven't used WFM enough yet - didn't realize (a) that there was a Review Task and (b) that it had some built-in notification mechanism ... I wonder what it's calling...?

As per my observation, it takes the Job Owner as the owner of the built-in email task..

6.7.1 SP1 is calling java url external tasks that are leveraging standard Java XSLT processing instead of perl and the proprietary PTs you used to have to write.

You will need to check the XSLT file to see what is specified in there.
