workflow job specification file

Something went wrong with a particular job and I'm trying to figure out what is wrong, but there weren't enough info in our workflow log files. The instantiator CGI creates a job specification xml file for each workflow that is started correct? Where is this job specification xml file stored?

I wanted to find out a piece of info on a dummy task but the dummy task was not listed in the "Completed Tasks" list in the UI. Is there a config entry somewhere to turn the listing of dummy tasks on and off?

The dummy task I want info on has a timeout value which I'm interested in obtaining. I used the iwgetwfobj CLT on a task preceding the dummy task that I wanted info about to find the task id of the dummy task. I then used iwgetwfobj on the dummy task and got the value on the timeout element. The timeout value that we are setting is in the month, day year, hour, min form but the value returned by the CLT shows "1183262100" which I guess teamsite has converted. Is there a way to convert this value back into the month, day, year......format that humans can understand?

This number represents Epoch seconds. That's how TS keeps time in WF Objects. There are many ways to format it. For example:

use POSIX;
print strftime('%m-%d-%Y %H:%M:%S', localtime(1183262100));

That prints '06-30-2007 23:55:00'
