SSL license

I have our network security team identified a vulnerability on TeamSite server. It says SSL license expired. Since we don't use a secure socket layer for TeamSite client login, is this license mandatory? What are the flaws if the vulnerability is not fixed?

Do you know the steps to turn off SSL on AIX. This might prevent any future vulnerability scan catching the SSL.

I can't say I've ever had to do this - so no - but I believe it's a feature of the web server(s) iwwebd, and/or the "customer web server".
