How to avoid white space in generated pages ?

While generating a "Html" page with teamsite "generate" option, It's getting generated with lots of reduntant white space in the file, is there any way to resolve it ?

This sounds like a templating question and not a Livesite question.

Yes, you can remove it from the TPL. There is obvious WS and also some that is hidden, if you use pt tags (iw_comment, iwperl, etc) the tags are removed, but the new line after it stays, so I put as many of those one one line as I can.

If you cannot remove enough, then create a Perl variable with the data, use regex to strip out all new lines, and use iw_ostream to output that variable (with the complete contents of the file) to the destination file. I have done this for navigation JS, where the size had increased due to new lines, so they wanted all 8000 characters on on line.
