cancelled vs failed deployment

hello all,

just wondering how do people on here handle cancelled deployments? right now, we just have a script that runs when a deployment failed. but it also runs when a deployment is cancelled by a user.

i am trying to find a way to distinguish between the two notifications. and before i spend too much time on it, i thought i check on here in case of somebody already has some logic in place?

i m on OD 6.1 2k3.

anybody has a suggestion or something in place for this issue?
