Is it possible to Use a Combo box in the TeamSite Interface which must has user friendly list of files to be deployed. User just have to select one of these files and then after pressing Go button file must be deployed automatically.
if yes pls guide me .I have no clue how to do this.

The requirement is not clear to me.... If user wants to deploy any file then he can just select all files and invoke a workflow... workflow will use the OD script to deploy the files... It's a simple process and if you are not aware of this process then please consult some TeamSite Expert.. He will be able to help you out....

we need one link in file menu with deploy option. user have to just check the file name and then click deploy
rest all should be automatically i.e. login, selecting deployment type,files

You can still achieve this by using workflow... you can configure Action -> New Job menu for invoking this workflow... user will just select the file and click on Action -> New Job and the files will be deployed... users will not have any interface or feel of workflow...

You can try Event based deployment using DAS....

Add this while configuring your workflow... After this whenever user will click on Action -> New Job the workflow will be invoked and it will deploy files... You need to execute your OD from your workflow....

You can if you really want to avoid the workflow,use a perl script to do this.All the parameters workarea,files selected are passed as parameters to the script.
But the best and easier solution is the workflow.

You can try Event based deployment using DAS....

DAS (Database Auto-Synchronization) has nothing whatever to do to what sauirabh is trying to achieve

branchName=/store2/main/www/WORKAREA,useNode=INTERNET,dst=C:\Inetpub\egz_www\news\stories
workareaName=/store2/main/www/WORKAREA,useNode=INTERNET,dst=C:\egz_www\news\stories

and wft_opendeploy.xml putteddown at odhome /config directory

after all this im getting error
Unable to find the entry for the workarea = '/store2/main/www/WORKAREA/artists' in the config file, 'D:\Interwoven\TeamSite\local\config/wft/solutions/wft_opendeploy.cfg'

Please go through the manuals provided by Interwoven. This will help you to understand the entire TeamSite architecture. It will also help you to come up with exact problem as now it seems to be a mess.

I'm not sure why there's such a push to workflow - it can certainly be done that way - but basically it sounds like you're looking for a custom menu item - in which case you need to read the Interwoven User Interface Customization Guide and know how to create a CGI program to do what you want it to do.

At a general level, none of this is that difficult - but if you don't have experience with doing this kind of thing it may be less trivial for you than it is for some of us.You can search through the forums for some code examples, you may be able to find other examples in scripts supplied OOTB - or, if you're still not comfortable with it - there are a bunch of us here who do this kind of thing for a living, and you can hire one of us to do it for you.
