MediaBin email as alink does not work properly

When emailing as asset in MediaBin as a link. The email is sent properly but the generated link is not correct. The page cannot be accessed.

Can you do a "view source" on the email and post the link?
There is a bug in early versions of the "email as link" feature. The link was to a UNC path, not a URL.
Another bug was discovered that we believe is in Microsoft Exchange server. If a line in raw email message is broken by the use of a line continuation character, and the following line begins with a period, Exchange Server drops the period when parsing the email message. We have a patch for 4.5.3 to work around this issue by encoding the period.
