Implications of changing proxy port during install

I am getting "The following port(s) is (are) busy: 1080" during TeamSite 6.7.1 installation. Port 1080 is the default Proxy port during installation. What are the implications of changing this to a different port?

As long as you change it during the installation - it should be fine.
Just make sure to document it fully for those (yourself potentially included) who need to maintain the server now and in the future.
