FrontOffice - Files not attached to workflow

TeamSite 6.7.1 SP1
FrontOffice 5.66 (Build 66920)
Workflow Modeller 1.0.0 SP1
Word 2003

When submitting a Word file (a.doc) from the TeamSite UI to my workflow, the files are attached as expected.

However, when submitting the same file from TeamSite Briefcase/FrontOffice, the same workflow is selected, but the file is not attached.

In the case of submitting from the UI, the workflow.wfm.vpath has a value of /default/main/XYZ/WORKAREA/XYZ.

When submitting from TeamSite Briefcase, workflow.wfm.vpath has a value of /default/main/XYZ/WORKAREA/XYZ/a.doc

Anyone know why the filename a.doc is being appended to the workflow.wfm.vpath? Could this be why my workflow is not attaching the file?

Any help greatly appreciated.
