Local Asset(s) Upload - In Design Plug-In Duplicating Assets in MediaBin

I have two InDesing Files , both referring the same Assets
( I mean, both InDesign Files are composed of same images but the content is different)

When I uploaded the first InDesign file , It uploaded the assets & In Design files
to the right location , For example
Common Assets (Folder)
[font=Book Antiqua][size=2][font=Book Antiqua][size=2][/size][/font][color=navy]Header .ai [/size][/font]

Footer .ai

Shell .ai

InDesign Files (Folder)

Catalog.indd

When I uploaded the Second InDesign file , It upload the assets & In Design files

to the right location , but the assets are duplicated

Common Assets (Folder)

Header(2).ai

Footer(2).ai

Shell(2).ai

InDesign Files (Folder )

Catalog-II.indd

How can I avoid this duplication?

I think this is a bug. We saw similar issues to this, but didn't open a support case. We found some other issues with the PDF renditioning of the plug-in.

I would open a case with interwoven support to get it tracked. If it ends up being a bug, can you post the bug number so I can add one of our customers to the bug?

I was told they are working on making some enhancements to the plug-in, so hopefully they will address this issue soon.

Good. That is what I would have suggested doing. Please be patient as parts of the InDesgn plug-in were developed by a contractor and so sometimes communications require an extra hop on our part. I am sure we will track it down.
