Open DCR Error: Templating Error Page

Hi,

When I try to open a DCR in teamsite , an error page respond.

Page like:

Templating Error Page :

An exception was thrown: Stopping after fatal error: The element type "value" must be terminated by the matching end-tag "".

It seemed that it is the mismatch of & ,but I can not find it.

and it contained some French character in it.

My teamsite version 5.5 and the DCR is attached.

Any help will be appreciated.

2 points, the file you posted seems to be a binary, would not open for me in a text editor.

2nd, TS 5.5 is years out of date.

Do other DCRs work ? Is it only this one ? Was it created with a template or did you write a script to build it ?

When I look at your DCR the only thing that stands out to me is some unprintable characters in the <value> node for the "Keywords" item. Have you tried removing those unprintable characters from the DCR directly and then try opening it for editing?

wierd, I tried opening the DCR in Vim and it failed (as binary) but it did open correctly in ultraedit. I saw the same issues as Lex.

The other thing you *may* want to look at is the e in Présentation générale (I do not know if they need to be the UTF8 version like the other characters are)

Hmm - I use Emacs on my Mac and can open the file without tooooo many problems. There are some odd-bit characters in there starting around the Abstract item - hmm, now that I look closer it starts in the Title item ... Interesting - I can view most of it as text in Emacs, but if I go to the terminal and do a cat -vte of the file - it's chock full of binary gobbledeygook.

Is this the only DCR that displays this problem or do they all have this issue?
What's the LOCALE setting on the server?
What's the LOCALE setting on the client machine that populated the DCT to create the DCR?
-- It appears that the content is in French - are you sure that the ancient version of TeamSite you are using (5.5) is supported on the OS/LOCALE you are trying to use it on?
-- Have you tried to create a DCR that contains only US English text to see if you can reproduce the problem that way?
Can you post the DCT (be interesting to see if that is readable)?
