use VMware server for OpenDeploy 6.1.0 and w2k3 sp2

we are about to use VMware server for OpenDeploy 6.1.0 and w2k3 sp2 and i know it is supported by IWOV accoding to Knowledge Base Article: 55074 but i would like to check with the community here if there are any known issue when using vmware?

We have many customers using VMWare for our various products. Most of these are dev/test instances and I have not see someone report issues with our products because of VMWare. Its usually the underlying O/S or JVM or something like that but nothing that specifically points to virtualization.

VMware + w2k3 + OpenDeploy has been working well for me in development. I see no real reason why you couldn't use this full time.

it is still working fine so far... i had some problems at the beginning when the system admin changed permissions around and corrupted some data... but so far, i dont see any problems and we are using it for production deployments.

Just so you know, we've been told repeatedly that W2K3 R2 and SP2 are still not supported by Interwoven for TeamSite (6.7.1 SP1 which was just released is supposed to support R2) and OpenDeploy 6.1. They're not listed in the product compatibility matrix either. Not sure if anyone else has checked with support on this but wanted to share.

I have been told the same thing and that sp2 for TeamSite may support sp2 for Windows 2k3 when released sometime the end of the year, but it is still not definite.
