i am facing problems with the teamsite reagarding users and work areas

: Editors working in TeamSite are having problems with their access on a regular basis:
1. Users cannot access their workarea/work or workarea/work does not seem to exist. Error message usually: “You do not have permission to read //wieapp00288/default/main/internet/chn/WORKAREA/work” and “Assertion failed: Unable to locate node …”
2. This issue is most apparent, but not restricted to, editors in Asia. For them, this issue lasts up to several hours.
For editors in Europe, the problems so far always disappeared after just a few minutes. Also, it did not occur any more for the last weeks.
3. There is a case at Interwoven, however, this behavior is new since Release 3.3 approx., so might be a problem on our side.

You are not providing any information here.

What version of TS are you using ? What OS ? Where are the servers located. ? What is Release 3.3 and what changed ?

Post should not be in Teamsite Product line.

i am very new to this environment here and i am in the middle of the project.
the servers are located in germany...and we are currently using teamsite 6.5
and os win2k3...there are approximately 35 websites running in the company in among these we are having problems in china ..all the 35 web servers are divided into..35 work areas..right know i am on teamsite devlopment..and there are two mote ts's..staginga nd prduction....we push the changes from dev tp staginga and production

Just a shot-in-the-dark - but these folks in the other countries / continents - do they have accounts on the local-to-TS server or local-to-TS-LDAP server? If not - it might be a network / bandwidth kind of thing where the TS server keeps losing their authentication credentials.

yes they do have acess rights..and they are having logins.. with the ts...when they want to see the wrokareas in editions ..the mesasge si displayed as u are a not valid user or u dont have rights to acess to this though they are having all the rights
