Help with iwtransconverter error

Hi,
MetaTagger is returning this error (I've replaced angle brackets with square brackets for forum display):

ERROR: While processing document: 'Alzheimers Dementia Mechanisms and Management
': [SERVER] ERROR: problem with iwmttransconverter
msg: [documentMetadata]
[encoding]utf_8[/encoding]
[language]english[/language]
[/documentMetadata]

But when I run iwtransconverter from the command line with the debug flag set I don't get any error.

Has anybody seen anything like this?

Hmm - probably need more information to know what's going on. Have you run with MT server set to Debug? Also - what version of the software are you running - there was an issue in 4.1 (fixed in a patch and in 4.1.x) where documents that did not have extractable text would return an error.

MT Server was running in debug mode so I can go through that log to see if there's more information there.

This was happening on all documents, including documents that had previously gone through successfully, so it's probably not the bug you mentioned.

ERROR: problem with iwmttransconverter

Do you have any custom converter defined? Even if there was a problem with custom converter the error will still say problem with 'iwmttransconverter'. Can you upload your metatagger.cfg?
Also you can only rule out cbreyman's bug if the specific file has been sucessfully transconverted, ie.. you cannot generalize with other files have been successfully transconverted.
