Save was unsuccessful

After a container was deleted and when i tried to "Save", I get the following error and unable to save the page after deleting a container.

Error Message: "Save was unsuccessful. Invalid category/type null was received"

9 times out of 10 that error indicates there is something wrong with your FormAPI. Maybe you spelled an item name wrong when calling getItem or perhaps something else syntactically is incorrect. I can't tell you how long I spent trying to debug that error the first time I saw it only to find out I had done something like: IWDatacapture.getItem("/someItemNAme"). Now I know to look for stuff like that (the capitalization of the "A" in this case).

I just realized that you didn't even say you were using FormAPI so my apologies if my answer has no relevance to your situation.
