No version or build information

Hi

I just got back into our teamsite installation that we had to put aside for a while to notice that the version number and build is not available any more.

This is the error showed "Could not get version and build information for product TeamSite." I look in the KB for an answer but did not see anything.

Can someone tell me what happen there and how I can get it back.

The version that should be displayed and that was installed was 6.7.1

I'm using the GUI, I attach 2 prints screen of the information error displayed one from the pro content center access and one from standard content center access in a zip file.

I can access the Teamsite application via a browser without any problem, so I beleive that it is still install properlly.

Both the IWHOME/iwinstall files are there, are they intact that i'm not sure since I'm not familiar with what file should be in those directory, they do look ok.

The teamsite 6.7.1 is install on a server 2003 Standard edition Service Pack 2.

Have you tried restarting TS and/or rebooting the server?

I did try a reboot with no change, so I decide to re-install Teamsite since we are still in a deployment/development mode there was no impact in doing so.

The new installation when just fine according to the installation guide, then I install the search module, I also intended to upgrade our installation to teamsite 6.7.1 SP1.

Rignt now I have an issue login in to teamsite, is there a config file that I need to change in order to login in or to create some sort of master account?? I look at the installation guide and admin guide and I cannot see any information on this.

Normally you can log in with your local admin account info and add new users from there.

I.e. if you are on a windows box, with a local admin of name Administrator, and password cheeseypoofs, you could log into teamsite as Administrator / cheeseypoofs and have full privs. For a linux or solaris system, I would assume root (but not 100%, use mostly windows)

Hi I could not login at all it would tell me that the username or password was incorrect.

I went directly in the tsusers.xml file and added myself there manually and this resolve the issue, from there I was able to login the teamsite application and add any user from there using the GUI.
