DCT Form validation - Check for images in the Visual formatting widget

Is it possible to check for images and prompt user not to put images in the visual formatting widget?

Can we customize visual formatting widget to not accept images or should we prepare a perl script to check in the copy and will this add performance overhead?

which widget ? VFE - yes you can, read the manual as to how. TinyMCE, likely but I am not certain off hand.

You certainly can add formapi to prevent that but IMHO, that is a bad way to go.
