MediaBin-files not getting moved into MediaBin from a Hot folder

Hi,

We have defined a hot folder. More than 100 files are still there in the Hot folder and have not got transferred into MediaBin.

To try and make this work, we copied all the files from the hot folder into a temp folder and then deleted all the files in the hot folder and copied it back into the hot folder from the temp folder. But still they do not appear in MediaBin

The error is : ERROR: Method not found: System.String MBUTILSLib.IMacFile.ConvertFromMacBinary(System.String, Boolean, Boolean, Boolean).

What types of files are these? Can you ingest them directly into the same destination folder using the same userid? Can you ingest any other file type in the same hot folder configuration?

We've recently discovered files are being created in macbinary format with comments. The comments are padded to a multiple of 128 bytes.
The original implementation for conversion from macbinary did not expect padded comment fields.
I'm not sure if this might be the problem. Try inserting one of them using the web client. If it doesn't work, this may be your problem. If so, please contact Customer Support for a patch.

Sorry about my delayed reply.

Yes, I did try moving a single file into the HotFolder. Didn't work.

Then I stop/started Publishing service, touched the image and then copied it into the HotFolder. But still it didn't get moved into MediaBin.

I am now trying to just add a file into the folder from a MediaBin web client. Its kinda slow today.

I have also raised a call with Interwoven Support and awaiting their response.
