i did some testing and the current files that im trying to bring into MB is over 1.5 gig in size. These files are eps files and per Adobe the file limt for them is 2gb.
Anyone know is there is a file limt on MB with eps files?

I get the very same message when uploading an .eps file using MediaBin 4.6.
Are there any known solutions to that problem yet?
Thanks!

There are two issues. Most large eps files are actually "Photoshop EPS" files which are essentially raster files in a postscript wrapper (my terminology). In MediaBin the Photoshop EPS decoder is the preferred way to ingest these files as it does not lose information. For example, the images have a native resolution and dimensions which is not true of vector files.
Vector eps represents the general case and can handle Photoshop EPS files as well. To decide which of these primitives ought to handle a specific image, the Photoshop EPS primitive looks at the creator. As Adobe has released more versions of Photoshop the range of versions that can appear have increased. Basically if you have a arster file that is not being displayed in MediaBin as "Photoshop EPS", you should contact support and in all likelihood we can give you a patch that will recognize the image.
It is highly unlikely that a real vector file will ever exceed a few megabytes, but if it does occur, and you are using the AGS Rip (this is the default in 4.5.x), one will hit another limitation which is that Adobe Graphics Server cannot handle any file greater than about 300 MB.
If you are running MediaBin 4.6 you have the option of using the Inkwell Rip which does not have this limitation, but the preferred solution is to make sure you are running an up to date copy of the Photoshop EPS primitive.
Cheers,
