FormAPI

FormAPI was installed here last week. We have also added the "enable_formapi=true" entry in "iw.cfg". But even a simple "Hello World" example doesn't work.

Have we overlooked something? All suggestions appreciated!

I'm in the same boat and would love to see an Interwoven mediator (or anyone with success) provide us with a detailed account of what needs to take place to get FormAPI working.

The documentation is a good overview of the product but it does not provide a complete example of installation or usage.

I don't know much about the installation itself as I'm just a developer and am not allowed anywhere near. All I know is that you have to add "enable_formapi=true" in the iw.cfg file and restart the server.

The thing I did was wrong was the restart of the server. I used the correct command (iwreset in iw-home/bin) but without the necessairy -a flag. As a developer I can't use this flag, you need ROOT-permissions, so I contacted someone to do it for me and now everything works fine.

I hope this solves your problem as well, if not, good luck in finding the solution.
