Unable to NFS mount the backing store of Teamsite 6.7.1 on Linux

Hi,
We are trying to do a NFS mount and facing issues on that.The Teamsite is version 6.7.1 on RedHat Linux ES 4.
Looking at the knowledge base it seems this is a know issue(bug id:55546) and I found this link to the article describing the issue.

But there is access denied error on accessing this article.

Any hint?

I think they have released a new patch for this, which solves this issue. Please refer the support site for this. I hvae given the link for the same :

well...I looked at all the patches and none of them talks about resolving bug id: 55546.
did you had this problem and you got it resolved?

Having spoken to the support people it seems the issue is with the mount /iwserver not getting created via Teamsite 6.7.1 on Linux.
The following command gives 'permission denied' error.

mount -o vers=2 hostname:/iwserver /iwmnt

any hint?

I am getting a "This article has restricted access" using your link on the support site.

We don't have any problems with this on RH 4. Can you include what that KB article says?

Even I am not able to access this article.
Are you able to access this mount from any other server?
the real problem is while trying to access the mount from another Linux server we get this error.
No issues on mounting the /iwmnt/default from the actual CMS server.
when I spoke with the support engineer they told me it might be a problem because of the fact that Teamsite did not create /iwserver (shadow directory) on Linux OS.

Still using TeamSite 6.7.1 ?

Do you have NFS server installed on the server ? And hope you have added the /mount/default to /etc/exports file with correct permission.

/iwmount/default nfsclient(ro,fsid=1000)

Once TeamSite server is set as an NFS server, go to your NFS client server and issue the command

showmount -e teamsiteserver

This should list the shared TeamSite stores.

Thanks Done that...The issue is now fixed. It seems there was a security firewall issue with linux, which was causing the mount to fail.

Good to hear the issue is fixed !

Try to get TeamSite upgraded, 6.7.1 is quite old.
