Dispite min and max=0 how to......???

Hi All,

Dispite this i have set min and default attributes of "or-container" to zero, max=2 ,I want to display one item on initialization time of template in a 'or'-container ,I tried this using FormAPI's onFormInit event but nothing happening. can anybody help???

If you don't show the code - we can't tell you what you did wrong. However, if you set the default and min to 0 then on initialization of a new DCR you won't see any instances of the container. If you want it to display one item - then you should set the default (and perhaps min) to 1.

If you're trying to programmatically determine which type of instance should be displayed - that's a more involved question - and having 0 as min/default might make sense. The code for handling this would still probably be in the FormAPI realm where you would have to check if the DCR already has a name (if it does, it's not new - ignore it) and then verify that there are currently 0 instances of the container, and then use FormAPI's IWItem.addInstance(index, [choice_name]) to do what you want -- it's in the manual...
