Depployment failure host-receiver version conflict

Hi,
Deployment to one of our servers fails attributing to a sender(6.0) receiver(5.6) OD version conflict.Is there a way we can still deploy without the upgrade installed

Give more details, what exact version of sender (6.0,1, 6.0.2), OS, also post what errors you have.

IIRC, there was a patch required for 6.0.X to talk to 5.6, but you can check the release notes of the higher version you have.
