HOW-TO: Set IWAUTH Environment Variable

Hi,
I am using ECM Connector 2.0.

While I have been able to integrate it with the DCT, I am facing a lot of challenges with the PT.

My Presentation template is simply:

On using this from the UI, I get the retcode: 6 error.

On checking it using the CLT iwpt_compile, I get the follwoing error:

I am using TS 6.7.1 on Windows 2k3. Any help as to how to create a valid session or how to solve this error is greatly appreciated.

If I remove the mediabin import statement, everything works fine.

After a bit more investigation, I am getting the error as per the KB article below:

I have followed all the steps, did IIS restart, but the error persists.

Any ideas?

it looks like your path is not valid in your MediaBin repository. Have you changed your default path from Media Database to Pepsi? It also looks like it is looking for path pepsi%20logo.gif.

I would think this would be \Media Database\pepsi logo.gif.

The image path is what the textbox contains after browsing over to MediaBin.

The repository is still the same. I am only specifying an ID to grab the image.

Server redirected too many times (20)

Are any of your MB requests working from the new server ?

Nopes. I can't even import files using the ContentCenter UI 'Import from MediaBin'. That is also giving me the same response.

Can you get on the TeamSite server itself and just ping the MB server ?

I have seen this error before at your company, the routing tables were hosed and the TS server could not open a socket to the MB server.

I am able to browse over to the MediaBin repository through the connector. I can select an Image. As soon as I click OK for import, it pops up the error.

It creates a blank file with the Image File name in the teamsite workarea.

I know that server but the domain is incorrect. I would find where it is getting that domain and start from there.

Yeah I know. I had to change the domain name. Apologize if it was mis-leading.

Yeah. Just tried everything again. And again, the same error.

I have gone ahead and also opened a case with support. I opened one yesterday and it never showed up on Case Center.

OK. So i went in and changed the permissions on the IIS site for MediaBin and MediaBin WebServices.

Is it supposed to fetch the file from this URL? I am doing this through the CC Professional UI itself. I can browse over to MediaBin, but it is unable to find the file? :-( Confused, to say the least!!

The file is very much present at that location in IIS. Just checked that as well.

FINALLY!!!

Phew!! I have been able to import files from the MediaBin server at least through the UI.

Thanks a lot Andy for all your help. Now to test it with a TPL.

EDIT - Forgot to mention how I corrected it.

1. Had to enable anonymous access to the MediaBin and MediaBinWebServices on IIS. This helped me solve the 'reconnect' error.
2. Had to enable read Directory access on the MediaBinWebServices folder in IIS. This helped me resolve the problem with FileNotFound.
3. Now to dig deeper and get the PT to work.
