Hi,
If i require an output in .xls from a DCT, would I be able to use a PT?

The only way that came to my mind was to use DataDeployor DAS to push to a database and then generate a spreadsheet from there.

Is there a way to generate XLS from TeamSite DCR? I recall that there was some offfice software that IWOV was distributing. Dont remember the name or the purpose....

If you specify that the datatype generates .xls files and write the PT in Perl there are a number of modules you can use for doing this - such as:

be included with iwperl, but chances are you may need to download and build some of them.

It's not hard to do, I did it many times.

arseExcel and Spreadsheet::WriteExcel are included into iwperl installation.
There are plenty of samples as well. Open up File "iwhome/iw-perl/vendor/lib/Spreadsheet/WriteExcel/doc/index.html"
with your browser for some documentation, samples, etc...
