Hi All,I want to retrieve item name in formAPI.I am able to retrieve full path but not item name only.I know in TS6.7 there is a function to do this but in 6.5 how to do this.I think regular expression can help to achieve this....but no success.Any one help me?
Have you read FormAPI developer's Guide?I believe there are some methods like IWItem.getName() which can give the Item Name. I have never tried but you can try them.
This method (IWItem.getName() )you suggested, returns path address of the item not item name.
yes,i tried this. This returns address of item. i want to retrieve item name only.
How about trying IWItem.toString() ?
I think this functionality available in TS6.7 not in TS6.5.
var x = some_item.getName().replace(/^.*\//, "");
