OpenText TeamSite 16.4.1 is now available

OpenText is pleased to announce the immediate release of TeamSite 16.4.1. This release delivers further enhancements to omni-channel content previews, usability, and developer and partner tools.

What's new in TeamSite 16.4.1?

Component browser:

  • Improvements to component browsing and search within the template and page creation process.
  • New tree-based navigation allows components to be located within organizational groupings, making template and page creation easier.
  • The component search bar has been relocated to improve the search area within the component navigation tree.
  • Direct access to Content Items (DCRs) within the component browser is now available, allowing users to easily access their existing content and dynamically generate a component around content placed on a page.
  • While adding a Content Item (DCR), users can now upload skins in supported rendering formats to easily display content directly from the component properties.

Refreshed campaign management:

  • Removed the TeamSite user interface and brought campaign management into Experience Studio (eStudio).
  • The modernized campaign management tool has four main steps: Campaign Details, Leads, Email and Twitter Collateral.
  • Streamlined workflow includes improvements to approvals while creating campaign artifacts.

Page management:

  • Addition of the "Move" and renaming capabilities for pages in eStudio.
  • Support for dependency management and automatic updates of dependencies when pages are renamed or moved.

ln-context editor enhancements:

  • A new, standardized in-context editing tool has been introduced in this version.
  • Both standard and advanced formatting options are included for WYSIWYG editing and component properties editing.

Forms preview:

  • End user forms can be previewed for accuracy from the Forms Designer using the supported rendering frameworks. From the previewer, simply revert back to editing by clicking on the Edit button.
